1. 8 Mile (2002)

Main Actor: Eminem

The people of Detroit know 8 Mile as the city limit, a border, a boundary. It is also a psychological dividing line that separates Jimmy Smith Jr. (Main Actor) from where and who he wants to be. A provocative fictional examination of a critical week in Jimmy's life.

Fun Fact

Lose Yourself was the first rap song to ever win an Academy Award. Eminem didn't show up to collect it because he thought he had no chance of winning.

2. The Addams Family (1991)

Main Actors: Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Hedaya

When a man (Christopher Lloyd) claiming to be Fester, the missing brother of Gomez Addams (Raul Julia), arrives at the Addams' home, the family is thrilled. However, Morticia (Anjelica Huston) begins to suspect the man is a fraud, since he cannot recall details of Fester's life. With the help of lawyer Tully Alford (Dan Hedaya), Fester manages to get the Addams clan evicted from their home. Gomez realizes the two men are conspiring to swindle the Addams fortune and that he must challenge Fester.

Fun Fact

The idea to bring back The Addams Family came from a car ride.

3. Scary Movie (2000)

Main Actor: Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans

Defying the very notion of good taste, Scary Movie out-parodies the pop culture parodies with a no-holds barred assault on the most popular images and talked-about moments from recent films, television and commercials. The film boldly fires barbs at the classic scenes from "Scream," "The Sixth Sense," "The Matrix," "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "The Blair Witch Project," then goes on to mock a whole myriad of teen movie clichés, no matter the genre.

Fun Fact

Brenda and Ray went to go see Shakespeare in Love at the cinemas.

4. Dumb and Dumber (1994)

Main Actors: Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels

Imbecilic best friends Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) stumble across a suitcase full of money left behind in Harry's car by Mary Swanson, who was on her way to the airport. The pair decide to go to Aspen, Colo., to return the money, unaware that it is connected to a kidnapping. As Harry and Lloyd -- who has fallen in love with Mary -- are pursued across the country by hired killers and police, they find both their friendship and their brains tested.

Fun Fact

Nobody wanted to call it Dumb and Dumber -- except The Farrelly Brothers(the movie directors).

5. Harry and the Hendersons (1987)

Main Actors: John Lithgow, Kevin Peter Hall

While returning from a trip in the woods, George Henderson (John Lithgow) and his family run into something with their car that turns out to be a Sasquatch. Thinking the creature is dead, they take him home, but "Harry" (Kevin Peter Hall) soon awakens. Despite their initial fears, Harry is a kind and sensitive being, and the Hendersons become very fond of him. However, it is difficult to keep him a secret, and soon they begin to fear for Harry's safety.

Fun Fact

Harry crashes his head through the Hendersons' ceiling, but in a next scene it's undamaged.

6. James and the Giant Peach (1996)

Main Actors: Paul Terry, Joanna Lumely, Miriam Margolyes

Featuring stop-motion animation and live action, this inventive adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved children's tale follows the adventures of James (Paul Terry), an orphaned young British boy. Forced to live with his cruel aunts (Joanna Lumley, Miriam Margolyes), James finds a way out of his bleak existence when he discovers an enormous enchanted peach. After rolling into the sea inside the buoyant fruit, James, accompanied by a crew of friendly talking insects, sets sail for New York City.

Fun Fact

The James and the Giant Peach book has been banned for being too scary.

7. Get Out (2017)

Main Actors: Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

Fun Fact

There are omega (Ω) symbols outside the Armitage's home. Omega is the last letter of the Greek alphabet, which may represent "the end" for Chris.

8. Meet the Blacks (2016)

Main Actor: Mike Epps

When some unexpected money comes his way, Carl Black (Mike Epps) moves his family from cold and windy Chicago to bright and sunny Beverly Hills, Calif. As the Blacks settle into their beautiful new home, they start to notice some strange behavior in the neighborhood. Nighttime is approaching, and President El Bama (George Lopez) announces that the annual purge is about to begin. Carl and his loved ones must now endure a 12-hour period of lawlessness before they can enjoy life once again.

Fun Fact

Michael Blackson (an actor and comedian inside the movie) name is not a rip-off from Michael Jackson. He is also my favorite comedian because everyone makes jokes of him and he loves it. @michaelblackson - Instagram

9. Sausage Party (2016)

Main Actors: Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton

Life is good for all the food items that occupy the shelves at the local supermarket. Frank (Seth Rogen) the sausage, Brenda (Kristen Wiig) the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco and Sammy Bagel Jr. (Edward Norton) can't wait to go home with a happy customer. Soon, their world comes crashing down as poor Frank learns the horrifying truth that he will eventually become a meal. After warning his pals about their similar fate, the panicked perishables devise a plan to escape from their human enemies.

Fun Fact

DO NOT show this movie to young kids. It is very "extra".

10. Brotherly Love (2015)

Main Actors: Keke Palmer, Cory Hardrict, Quincy Brown

In Philadelphia, a high-school basketball player, his sister and their older brother face life-changing decisions as they struggle to make something of themselves.

Fun Fact

This movie shows us that you really can't trust everyone, no matter how close you think they are to you. From the movie's prospective, it shows that people may backstab you.
